Let’s just call this place on the internet a blog/website, where I (Janne) publish writings, photos, thoughts, travel stories, experiences. A little bit of everything. To keep the (ugh) creative juices flowing. Adding a little bit of cringe to the recipe.
For a while I wasn’t sure whether or not I wanted to write in my mother tongue, Dutch. When it comes to writing and expressing, there still are some limits that English is putting on me. But let’s be fair, my life is currently being lived in a more international environment, with friends from all over. They influence my life, my stories, who I am and am becoming as a person. I can’t ask them to use a translator to read. So let’s challenge myself a bit and write in English. It’s good practice. It can reach more people. This text is becoming too long.
